A challenging and relevant curriculum is offered and student’s performance demonstrates their satisfaction and development. The academic session is from April to March. The First term is from April to August, the Second Term from September to December and the Third Term from January to March. Besides half yearly and annual examination, unit tests and weekly tests are also conducted to provide better feed-back and to build up the student’s strength, overcome weakness and to progress to the next step in the learning process. Continuous and comprehensive evaluation system is being followed in the primary classes. The school is sensitive to the needs of the individual,
and provision is made for special needs, including remedial educational programme, supervised home work assignment, programme for gifted and talented children.

Continuous comprehensive evaluation is recorded and graded as per achievements of the student up to class V. Grading is recorded as given below:

          O  Outstanding  90% & Above
          A  Excellent  80-89%
          B   Good    70-79%
           C   Fair      60-69%
          D  Average 50-59%
          E Marginal    40-49%
          F  Poor  Below 40%
     

  A student must obtain at least D for promotion to higher class.

    A cumulative average of 40% marks in each subject is required for promotion. Exams are held in November and March besides regular unit tests and weekly basis.
    »      Absence on genuine medical ground will be treated as leave and in such case promotion will be considered on the basis of previous performance.
    »      Absence on day with or without medical certificate for unit test / exam will not be considered for ranking.
    »      Postponement, Preponement, retest will not be made in any oral or written test in any class.
    »      Malpractice in any unit test / exam will be considered as having secured zero marks; malpractice will be seriously dealt with.
